Minnesota Series (2026):

‍ ‍This series comes from all the protecting many Minnesotans are doing. Protecting the people (Twin Cities Metro Surge) and the land (rolling back land protections, wild fires and land back). I am a public school teacher in an immersion school. It is devastating to see how marginalized families are treated. Dehumanizing people is not new and needs to stop. I created Minnesota shaped pieces with wisdom I thought the Minnesota trees would remind everyone of. Also, we are stewards of this land. As someone with settler heritage, how can we center native peoples and keep supporting the land?
